Thanks to all of our Members, for keeping our subdivision safe, clean, and quiet.

Sorry: No Trailers, Boats, or Recreational Vehicles
The Deed Restrictions state that "No boats, trailers, campers, motor-homes, camper trailers or recreation vehicles may be parked or stored upon any lot".
We have had several instances recently where TENANTS parked trailers or RV's in the neighborhood. When The Homeowners Association served notice of this violation, one renter claimed that, "this was not written in my lease, you cannot stop me". With due respect, the Deed Restrictions have Legal Authority and supersede any Lease or Rental Agreement.
We were asked by one Landlord to "please make an exception until the lease runs out". Regrettably, we cannot do that. Our Attorney has advised that, "If one trailer is allowed, then we risk making that Deed Restriction Null and Void". The Board of Directors does not have the right to make such a change to the Covenants; that would require a vote of 90% of the property owners in Richview Park.
Landlords, please incorporate language into your lease explaining this prohibition. Make certain that your Tenants know and understand this rule. You can find the full text of the Restrictive Covenants by clicking the Link on the right side column of this page. Scroll down to Article V, Section 11 for the restriction on Trailers.

Posted Speed Limit is 25 MPH
There are many pedestrians in Richview Park.
* * * Thanks for using Caution and obeying the Speed Limit * * * *
Speaking of Speed Limits, be aware that Tallahassee Police Department is seriously enforcing the 35 MPH speed limit on Park Avenue and Blair Stone Road. TPD Motorcycle Officers and Squad Cars are frequently parked at the Bridge over the Black Lake, they are parked near Reece Park Lane, and at several other locations. Observe the speed limit and save yourself an expensive speeding ticket!
